Exponential Growth

Twelve years ago, Badjao Bridge committed to opening the door to education for children in Badjao tribes. Since then, hundreds of children have attended school and graduated, many with honors. Several of these graduates have continued their education, graduating college and beginning new careers.

Incredibly, these college graduates have been returning home to invest in their communities. They are bringing new life - educating, healing, protecting and inspiring.

From Student to Teacher

Em is shown here on the left with one of her students. She worked hard to become an Elementary School Teacher in order to teach in her home community, where she had once been a Badjao Bridge scholar. After graduating from high school, Em went on to earn her Teaching License and teachers’ uniform.

So far, Em is one of 6 Badjao Bridge volunteers who has graduated Teacher’s College and returned to their community to teach. She is an inspiration to her students, to us, and to her community.

Em and others like her are building a brighter future for the Badjao.

“I want to help Badjao and share my knowledge with them. I saw them struggling to read and write, which is why I have had the eagerness to help them since I was in high school.” - Em

A Dream in the Making

Your support has opened the door for Badjao children to attend college, to graduate, and to become career professionals. Thank you!

This season, we are supporting Jackie. She is a hard-working student with straight A’s and a big heart for her community. Jackie is training as a medical technician and is working towards becoming the first Badjao Medical Technologist. Once she achieves this goal, she may continue on to become a doctor.

For $15,000 we can send Jackie through Medical Technician school and make a transformational impact for Jackie and her Badjao tribe. Every dollar helps to make Jackie's dream a reality. Thank you.
